It’s that time of year when the temperature is cooler, trees turn from green to vivid colors, and holidays line up one by one. Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year, there’s something in the air (most likely allergies). But there’s something else, something magical, maybe it’s anticipation, maybe it’s memories, maybe it’s just the shift in seasons. The time of year when afternoon shadows grow longer, leaves crunch underfoot, and curling under a blanket provides extra comfort.
Some years ago, I wrote a very short short-story about a walk under a Harvest Moon. Although it was a work of fiction, there was a lot of truth in the words, as I told of an actual personal experience. No, it wasn’t a story of self-revelation or a life-changing epiphany; it was a simple story with a simple message.
I hope you will take the time to read it. (It’s a free PDF download)
